Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte Recipe to Rival Starbucks PSL

Autumn has arrived in the UAE, and for us Autumn is synonymous with all things pumpkin spice and everything nice!

But Starbucks has discontinued its Pumpkin Spice Latte in the Middle East this year” – we hear you cry!!

Fear not pumpkin spice lovers, BRW Society is here to bring you something even better – our very own Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte made with our Organic Yoga BRW blend.  We are exclusively divulging our decadent recipe right here and now so that you can whip it up in the comfort of your own home. So dry your tears, and get ready to indulge in the taste of Autumn, BRW Society style.

This latte contains 4 key components; a Pumpkin Spice Syrup (made with real pumpkin!), our Organic Yoga blend, steamed milk and foam and finally a dusting of pumpkin spice topping. You can whip up a batch of the Syrup and Spice so that you have it to hand ready for when your craving hits.

Pumpkin Spice

Pumpkin Spice Measured Out


  • 1.5 tbsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Allspice
  • 1/4 tsp Ground cloves


Step 1. Mix all spices together and add to an empty spice jar.

Pumpkin Spice Syrup
TOTAL TIME - 5 minutes

Pumpkin Spice Syrup


  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2/3 cup pumpkin puree (you can buy this in a can or make your own by roasting pumpkin)
  • 400ml sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (see above)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Step 1. Add sugar and water to a small pot on the stove over medium heat. Once the sugar has dissolved and reaches a boil, turn the heat down to low.

Step 2. Add pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, pumpkin pie spice and salt to the syrup mixture.

Step 3. Stir all ingredients together for a minute or two over low heat.

Step 4. Remove from heat and let the liquid cool. Store in a jar in the refrigerator.

Organic Yoga Pumpkin Spice Latte


  • 2 tbsp Pumpkin Spice Syrup (only use 1 tbsp if you don't like it too sweet)
  • 2 perfect tsp BRW Society Organic Yoga BRW
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup milk of choice
  • Sprinkling pumpkin pie spice


Step 1. First add the pumpkin spice syrup to a large mug.

Step 2. Steep 2 perfect teaspoons of BRW Society Organic Yoga in a cup of boiling water for 5 minutes. 

Step 3. Warm the milk in a microwave and use a handheld frother to create foam.

Step 4. After steeping, pour the tea into the mug with the pumpkin spice syrup. 

Step 5. Pour in the warmed milk to fill the mug about ¾ of the way - hold back the foam with a spoon.

Step 6. Spoon the froth on to the top and sprinkle with pumpkin spice.
